She's started her shore tour so I'll see her next month and maybe she's come up with answer since I last saw her in December.
You have a "big brain" sister" there. WOW...nuclear physics. DANG. Well, good luck with that one.

These two ask me my opinion, and then my sister replies, "We're not all hard for the military like you are." <<< Well why did you ask me then; you probably knew what I was going to say before you ever dialed my number. I'm out of it now >>> do whatever you're going to do...just do it the BEST YOU CAN<<<

By the way, do me a solid: Find my daughter in Highlands Ranch and sell her a reliable beater car so she'll quit pestering me about it

Navy Nuclear Program

For what it is worth, the fact that I was part of the Navy nuclear program did not really make any difference when they tossed me out on a medical and I needed a new job. However, the BS in Nuclear Engineering (or most any type of engineering) was a big plus to get a job after naval service.

I can relate to the OP. Its is a brother in law story after all. Mine is a real dandy..LOL. Spent 3 years in the Army in the 60's, no overseas service and you would think by his sea stories he was the biggest and baddest ground pounder that ever lived. Tells stories about beating up SEALS and Green Berets in bars etc. Just too much!
