this is really nothing new. when you mix alcohol with women, anything is possible. i feel for the guy. ive done stupid sheet in that situation too....i was just lucky i didnt have my hands on a gun at the time.

lesson learned.......dont let pu$$-e get in the way of your good judgment......especially when handling guns!!!!!!!! and its also a good idea to never involve guns with a "joke" or play of any kind. really!

Thanks from m14forme

In the words of Jerry Lee, "Come on over baby, whole lot of stupid going on."

I worked a case where a male and female were arguing. The female threatened to shoot herself with a .45. The male removed the magazine and emptied the mag of the cartridges in front of her.

The argument continued and the female (they were lying on the bed together) got on top and straddled the male. She put the gun to her head and how would you like it if I did this? She pulled the trigger.

The male forgot to remove the cartridge from the chamber. She was dead before her body fell on top of the male.

Alcohol, other drugs and a .45 = bad mixture.

This is really sad. I am sure that Petty Officer Clayton would have preferred to die a different way if he was not destined to live to a ripe old age.

I've seen two head wounds inflicted during suicide attempts that weren't fatal. However both suffered serious and permanent injuries.

Sad ending.
