| JEST (Marines please chime in also)
I went through JEST (Jungle Envirornmental Jungle Training) in the Philippines in '89 (Fleet Aviation Special Operations, Cubi Point) with several NAVY Ordies from CAG14 and Marines. I beleive the Marines were a mix of MARDET CV 64 and MEU (9th?)....anyway, looking for any of the class who recall the incident of a Marine 2nd LT who had his hand chewed up by a King Monkey in our class....great story by the way.....if there are any Navy or Marines who were in that class or know of the story please post!
