Maybe early Feb? She mentioned how busy they are, SHOT show coming up, etc. She didn't give me an estimated time, so I'm back to the drawing board with wondering when it'll show up. |
The impression I got from exchanging emails with her about the status of the third production batch is not to expect them to start shipping until sometime in Feb and possibly even March. SHOT eats up most of January for them. They are still working on completing the second production batch which IIRC started shipping sometime late Sept/early October. I know the wait will be worth it for the product, but I REALLY hate the waiting part. :) I'm nearing the 12 month timepoint.

I'm just frustrated with the process as a whole. They send out the email stating 6-10 weeks, and then... nothing. I have to email to JAE only to find out that even after their stated delivery time... that it'll still be another couple *months* most likely.
What ever happened to keeping one's commitments? After all, they emailed us stating 6-10 weeks. And now it's more delays and not telling us of it until we inquire?
I'll be very honest: I'm really frustrated with the process at this point.

Yep at this rate I may have to wait another year before I get my stock if they keep it for me while being in the sand box.

Wow.. I didn't know there was a wait like this, I actually spoke on the phone with Lisa at the beginning of this week and had a million questions about the stock, but she didn't mention that it took almost a year. I'm definitely going to start considering another one for now.. Maybe even a Promag if I can't get a SAGE... How long does SAGE take?

From what I've learned in the past the wait time was usually about 10 to 12 months. Just recently though, they've retooled their shop to make the new Generation 3 stock so it's delayed them a bit. These stocks are hand built to perfection and that's why many wait. I've placed my order in Nov 2010 and still waiting very patiently!

I've placed my order in Nov 2010 and still waiting very patiently! | The process is complicated by the owner of the company WANTING to keep his first commitment -- to deliver us the best stock he can -- so when they were making the M700 stock and the gen three --- they were discovering things in the process to make BOTH stocks better, and that men new Machine programs, new tooling, etc. I am frustrated as hell with the wait times because I love this stock. Waiting on my Gen 3 AND my M700...
