#1 | | Lifer | The new JAE-100 G3 stock
I just got the notification that the G3 tooling is complete and they will be starting full blown production soon. Here is the info I received.
JAE-100 G3 stock in Coyote Brown with Dark Earth Accessories Stock shown on Springfield Super Match, Sadlak Steel Scope Mount, U.S. Optics SN-3 Scope, GG&G 1202 Bipod, Accu-Shot BT12-QK PRM Monopod.
It definitely looks more streamlined. Lisa at JAE said that you can feel the difference with the forward hand, it fits better.
What's New on the JAE-100 G3? - Thumbwheel has a separate break wheel that makes the cheek rest rock solid; even when raised up to its highest position.
- Butt Pad is extended downward, giving better positioning on shoulder.
- Flush Cups are now included with Basic Stock (4 positions on each side of stock). The front and rear are different in shape. They can also be purchased separately to mount sling on bottom (if desired).
- Skeleton redesigned to make stock lighter and weight distributed for better balance and performance.
- Forend has more taper for enhanced ergonomics while holding with "off" shooting hand.
- "Quick Detach" option now available and works well with new break on G3 (this option is for removing cheek rest for iron sites).
- Bezel around wheel has been modified with a lower profile.
- If Spacer System is ordered with Gen 3, the stock can be sent back in for a Thumbwheel upgrade.
- Grip line is slightly lower and has better ergonomic shape.

I've had the G3 full up "Want It Now" package ordered and paid for since the 1st week of February. A $3600 USO scope is ready. Badger Ordinance rings are waiting. An LRB M25 with a heavy national match SS 22" barrel, 20 MOA rail, the bipod and monopod are waiting for it.
I hope I get it THIS month. It's driving me crazy.

I almost slapped down my plastic for the deposit on the G2 last month. | They aren't making the G2 any longer that I'm aware of for new orders?
Anyway... I got this email as well. Can't wait for mine to show up!

I hope I get it THIS month. It's driving me crazy. | I heard they are shipping this month. This picture being released is good news. I handled the gun at the last SHOT show and it feels MUCH lighter, balanced better. The stock features all the advances they developed for the Remington 700 stock. I have mine on order, gun, USO and magazines waiting as well...

This new stock is slimmer, and the internals of the stock have been all refined, so that's a question for the JAE folks. |

Mine will be Titanium Grey (looks kind of blueish in the pictures) with the accessories in Swat Black with the side rails. It will have a black USO SN3 TPAL 3.x-17X EREK with illuminated reticle, extended eye relief, internal level, ARD/Kill Flash and 2" hood. Other than that should look like the picture.
Wish I could get a high resolution copy of the picture. I hate the low res stuff. With my guns mostly in Texas and I'm in Thailand mostly I like the pictures. When my almost 4 year old bugs me, her mother say," Leave daddy alone, it's looking at his gun porn."
Just got 4000 rounds of 175gr FGGM for it and some FGGM 168 gr too. The waiting is killing me. Back in Texas for 3 weeks next month. I'll let Deah spend time with my sister-in-law shoping, while my brother and I do some serious shooting. |
