Got my stock over the Christmas break.

Some minor material removal and it was a tight fit. Played with it for a few days, but didn't shoot it. Decided to go back to the original composite stock.

PM me if you want it. We can haggle over $, but I'll definitely let it go for less than I paid.

And not very many field reports on the performance of the stock when the assembled rifle is brought to the range for target practice.

The Archangel looks like the stock I am looking for. From everything I can gather, it does not have the hand guard piece. Does anyone know where I can purchase a black hand guard in a similar material so I can get a decent match? I am brand new to this site and I really appreciate the information content.

Just finished fitting my stock. I had to remove material not only from the trigger pad area but also the top where the receiver mates against the top of the stock. Not much but now a tight lock up. I am headed to range in an hour. I will report back this evening with a range report.

Ok Just got back from the range. I took the GI stock my M1a has been riding in for the past 6 years along with the new Pmag stock. Shot a 5 round 100 yard string with my 168 gr loads the gun loves and was able to do 2 groups both first group was 1 1/4 the second group was 1 1/2. I removed the GI stock let everything cool down loaded two mags and placed the action into the PMag stock. First 5 round group was 1/2", second group was was 1/2" as well. Let it cool and set clay pigeons on the burm at 215 yards and proceeded to bust the pigeons into pieces. Was even able to shoot the halves of the clay pigeons.
This gun has never shot this well in the 12 years I have owned it.

Does anyone know if the lower piccatiny is removable. Im shooting a Loaded M1A with the quad rail and would prefer to keep the lower rail from the factory in use. Any insight would be appreciated.
