Archangel Stock Info Request

I happen to have an Archangel stock around the house and have a new Bula DMR that needs a stock so that I can shoot it. However, I do not know if the Archangel used a dedicated hand guard or accepts a stock M14/M1A hand guard. If anyone knows for certain, please enlighten me. I could always use education wrt new (to me) products.

USGI Handguard will work fine on the Archangel Stock. I used a Scout Handguard on this one but the USGI will work fine.

Thanks from Wasted ammo

I have a GI hand guard on there as well and no problems.

I installed a standard M14 hand guard on the Archangel and it fits. Fairly tight but appears to fit quite well.

Yep...mine was a tight fit too, but I trimmed it via the hanguard fitment thread method and it's now 'floating' on some RTV silicone. It's apparently VERY important to accuracy to have clearance between the rear of the handguard and the receiver...otherwise you'll end up with SERIOUS accuracy issues (like I did...see my Bula XM21 build post.)

Post pictures! Do you have any glass for it yet?

It is not quite ready for photos right now since it is missing sling, swivels, and a bipod. I do have two scopes set aside for the M21 DMR and the XM 21. One is a new Nikon P308 that my youngest son just sent me as a surprise and the other one is a Vortex PST 4-15 with the EBR 1 reticle.

No final decision as to which scope goes where. Right now, the M21 is wearing the PST and I am looking for one inch rings for the P308 scope. If anyone has recommendations as to a decent priced bipod, I am all ears. I am leaning toward a Harris of some type but will be open minded.
