There's been a couple of other threads... the Archangel stock is too deep and they sell a filler kit to make it Cali legal.

The JAE is legal but $$$$

Anyhow, I wanna know what you think - ugly or gorgeous, or somewhere in the twilight zone....

Just get one with a regular wood stock or buy one of their barreled actions and set it in a mcmillan. Assuming you can get a hold of Bula which is a whole other topic.

not really sure what you mean by that? any/all correspondence I've had has been VERY timely...like within hours at the most to receive a response. perhaps you're sending messages to a dead email or something?

Unless Jeff is working on a rifle build, or two or three, then he's in a trance, a whole entire different world.

Yeah the rifle in the OP is just wrong.

If you must, they make a matching monte carlo style buttstock for the Sage chassis front.

Or, If you must have some kind of wood, just get an M21 stock.

In my opinion, the J.A.E.-100 is the best for this, yes they are $$$$ but anything good is these days.

I think its looks ok, I am not to keen on the buttstock... I would prefer everything to be the same color. But you gotta do what you gotta do in CA!

Wow, that pic with the Mossberg stock - that looks VERY nice!

We've got so many weird laws now - like some have said, the main object seems to be to make the firearms less capable than normal. I find this attitude bizarre, but then most people say that about me, too.

I once pointed out that the most dangerous thing in a restaurant was probably not the "open carry" advocates, but the food - did not go over well-

Boy, are my priorities different.

Show us the group it makes at 200 yards.

THAT will determine how pretty it is.
