Unmarked SureFire fh762km14

Take a look at this SureFire flash hider. It appear to be a fh762km14, yea I know the pics are not perfect...

But;

Look at the recess at the end of the FH, there is a "U" shaped cutout that I have not seen on any other fh762km14's. There are no markings on this FH either.

Do ya'll think this a legit fh762km14?

maybe it had a bayonet lug that needed to be ground off to be in CA?

Awards Showcase

I haven't heard of knockoffs for these but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Mine definitely didn't have that notch

Thanks for the replies, I don't this this had any type of bayonet lug on it. This one has me puzzled...

I was thinking it maybe a Crane production / early SureFire prototype, but I don't have any reference for this.

never seen one. Maybe it was modified so the notch faces up and acts a little bit like a brake. That's my only guess.

Unmarked, no branding, is how they were delivered for the contact to uncle sam.

As for the notch, I can only speculate.

Many variations on a theme, but the one top center seems to have that same cut:

That one looks similar but its for a AR barrel in 5.56. The is one is def. made of steel, so I am not thinking its a airsoft ripoff, I still am leaning towards a military issued FH.

I was just looking for a similar style and notch cut. I did not have the time to go through all 10 (or more) pages - there may have been one in 7.62, don't know. If they made one in 5.56 of the same style (or very close to it) it is not much of a stretch to think that they could have made one in 7.62. :-) Just trying to help in my own feeble way.
