Bula XM21 CBR

Bula XM21 CBR California version
Big thanks to Jeff for selling just the action ( because I could not use the new AG composites CBR stock )
Big Thanks to Tony Ben for getting it to California
I used a traditional AG composites stock that I repaired and repainted
Set up with a Trijicon Tr24g 1-4 , EGW low rings , Bradley fixed cheek rest
Now I just need to find time to get to the range !

That's a sharp rifle. Love the OD!
What type of trigger group did you use?

Thanks from jjweb

I have a mostly usgi group in there now , Jeff sent me a complete Bula trigger ( which feels great ) but I need to compress that stock a bit or maybe take a little material off because I cannot get the Bula group to lock in , too tight .

I would highly suggest to find a used trigger guard with some wear, rather
than grind on a new stock! Rule # 22, Always alter/ re-work the cheapest part. good luck 1000m

Hi,
Those receivers are seriously a work of art!

I have that receiver with a matching logo bolt to go with it!

Awards Showcase

Looks great, and glad it arrived safely! Let me know if you want it bedded in the future. That will resolve your trigger group fit issue.

Tony.

jjweb,
That's a nice setup. I have the same stock so I'll give some advice; not criticism. I found that the stock fit is so tight that painting it where the receiver heel and wings, and trigger group, contact the stock, that the trigger guard won't close. Also, on a different note- there is enough clearance inside the stock that the oprod spring guide pin and trigger pin can slide out. I put some glass bedding on the inside of the stock to alleviate that problem.
Cheers

Thanks from tonyben and jjweb
