Bought another SOCOM

I sold my SOCOM almost a year ago. It was the funnest rifle to shoot.

Well, I'm back and glad to be here. Bought a Kryptex Highlander from PSA.

Sweet deal. Tune that sucker up when you get her, and let us know how she shoots!

Nice, I picked up one of those as well a few months ago. Lots of fun to shoot.

I got mine from PSA too, very happy and love the platform.

Any new production SOCOM owners use a gas cyl wrench? The standard from Sadlak was too small and I need to switch it out for an oversize if that one fits.

Also, make sure you tighten down your factory scout rail. Some of the screws were loose on mine from the factory.

Bought another SOCOM! Wassamatta U? Seriously, congrats! I don't plan on ever letting my first one go.

yep i saw this a few weeks back and had to get it. Now I am a member. Looking forward to putting more rounds down range with her. I have a couple vids of me shooting her on my instagram @lucci_guns
took about 10 days total from psa to get.

I bought one of those also, about 7 months ago. They are a fun gun and take me back to my USMC M14 days.

I bought mine for pig hunting but have shot a couple of indoor carbine matches with it. it is loud inside but not much more than the AK47s or even the ARs with the linear comps.

I scoped mine with the Burris Scout scope at first but I had trouble trying to shoot in very low light with the glare from the rifle mounted light so I sold it and went with a red dot. Couldn't hunt pigs during deer and turkey season and haven't had a chance to hunt them since those seasons closed.

Enjoy your new SOCOM.

Thanks from Dougboffl
