I am a fan of these

There are some good leather ones too. You can try TreelineM14.com or some others. I am sure some other members will chime in.

It does really depend on what you like. The web slings like the Killa is posting are also available in black. There are many web sites that sell both. They usually sell for around $15.00 or less.

I like the leather ones also, but find the web slings the easiest to use.

I have the nylon and cotton slings that Killashrub posted. For me the nylon is better.

For 1907 slings the Ron Brown sling from Creedmoor is the best value/quality available. Used to be a Turner fan but they are thinner leather and stretch after a max of two years. I feel the price isn't justified in comparison.

Les Tam are rated as the best, but he has over a 3 month waitlist. At a recent match another competitor had a Les Tam sling and we were comparing them side by side. The Ron Brown was identical in leather, hardware, and design.

Turner "All Weather" synthetic slings seem to have a pretty good reputation for durability. Strength and non-rotting are the selling points. I found the sling somewhat difficult to adjust easily due to the "sticky non-slip" nature of the material. Also, they don't mark the holes with numbers for repeatable adjustments.

Over-all, if you just need a sling, you can't go wrong with a canvas web sling. Inexpensive and easily adjustable. And, it just looks right!

Thanks from Rich D

HK 91 and Smoothy 8500 are both right for quality and wearable Ron Brown is the best. I ordered my directly from Ron and his wife Linda. They are both great people. If funds are a problem the old canvas sling are very servicable, but for a few $$ more a custom sling from Ron is the way to go.

Slings

I use a Viking Tactical padded VTAC sling, it's a two point sling designed for a heavier build and it has a rapid adjustment system that is very handy.
