Where did the Sage Mod 1s go?

I am finally getting around to gathering parts for my M14 Mod1 build. I haven't been able to find any of the FDE Sage Mod 1 stocks in stock. There has been one on gunbroker but the guy has sold it like 5 times and he wants double the price. Anyone have any insight if Sage will be churning more out. This is the last EBR I need to finish the collection. Thanks
Mike

I've been wondering the same thing. I quit looking for one though once I got an ag composites cbr stock. Clydesdale armory only has an acls in gray.

They haven't made any real Mod 1's in a while now. The last offering from Clyde Armory was an FDE ALCS/CV with tan one piece hand guard that they marketed as a Mod 1.

Wow those are pricey, 1300-1700 for a sage ebr? I think I paid 700 for a mod 0 chassis and DCSB used.

Go big or go home I guess

Whoa! I paid $850 new from Clyde Armory for mine. Included a 3/4" riser for the CTR, Vltor storage extension tube and Troy modular foregrip. Those prices are crazy.

Don't know why but i've noticed a shorter supply of Mod1 styles lately too.
You may have to build yourself one or convert a Mod0.

Here's a valuable component if you gonna convert.

By the way, it'd be worth a call to see if their mod1 for 795 is in stock.

I payed $650 shipped or was it $700 shipped from USTactical.com during a Black Friday sale a few years ago for my Mod 0.

Yeah the prices seem really high. I also love it when people won't ship to Ca and even though it is completely legal to do so. Oh well the search continues

Thanks from unkola

Email or call manufacturer. I ordered one (Navy Seal Grey) in April of 2016 and received it in December 2016.
I worked with Kristina Millard (who is awesome and SUPER helpful, even post sale and delivery she has been great and eager to help with any questions.) from Sage and she helped me find the last available Navy Grey (Mod 1 = Mil-Spec buffer extension) in the batch they were running at the time and she even put in the order to have the rail section milled off to fit my scope mount (Sadlak Airborne).
She/they will answer any questions you have about specs, install instructions and so on.
I love my build and am currently saving up and doing research for some glass to put the final touch on it.
I know a lot of guys do their own installs with these stocks and I'm sure if you're capable and confident, you probably will too but I had access to a M14 Armorer so I had him install it. I came away very pleased with it and love the gun even more than I thought I would when I was waiting all those months for delivery.IMG_6247.jpg

@Khan813

Can you post some close-ups of your buffer tube?
