(Especially since I noticed that boss on the left side of the front of the oprod...)
You sir, win the prize. You are correct on both accounts. The non-reciprocating charging handle rides forward of the boss immobile until you need to charge the weapon. At the point, the operators left hand is most natural to do so. When pulled back, the handle interacts with the boss on the op rod with opposing angles pulling the two together to avoid any slipping possibilities when activated. You'll notice a much more generous radius on the exterior of the op rod where the handle used to be. That allows for the pocket are to ride snugly in the chassis preventing binding in the action or impact with the operator. It's a very compact rifle with a lot of bang.

Thank you, Jeff! Once in a while this old blind squirrel will find a nut!

Jeff, there are some great looking rifles in the last picture! The first pic was pretty sweet too.
I hope one year I can make it there and drop by and say Hi. I'm not in the industry so I have to find someone to get me in, haven't been successful so far.

Thank you very much. We appreciate the support we get here on the forum. It is greatly appreciated! I have a strong personal tie to this action with my grandfather carrying the Garand in Europe and my father carrying the M14 in Asia. I personally believe this platform can be more than a "niche" market if modernized in an attractive enough way. Our thinking aligns very well with the innovative approach Wolfe Firearms takes on the platform too. His attention to detail and fresh ideas are impressive to say the least!

Thanks from Snyper762, delong31, nf1e and 2 others
