OK, I figured it out. New receiver design with no charging handle on the op rod...obviously a CA compliant model right? If you can't charge the weapon, it's not evil therefore OK by CA's lefties.

Just had to have a little fun this morning.

The M1A is not banned in CA , only mod is a Brake . You should do some research before you post. Maryland , New Jersey and New York have more stringent restrictions than CA . Be sure to include them in you comment next time.

I've noticed cali boys are getting a bit sensitive for being highlighted for being in a commie state with the new restrictions in place and coming up.

604flyer clearly stated that he was being sarcastic.

Back on topic, more pics, Jeff!

No, Jeff. Stop!

The other day I said to a friend I didn't need any more rifles, and I hate being wrong.

I did not bring it of topic 604flyer did with his comment, Ca restrictions are not as severe as some other states Maryland, New York to name a few do not forget to include those commie states. It sucks that we are all members of this forum and have the same passion but cannot support each other as members.

I'm guessing that those threaded bosses on the receiver are for a bullpup chassis. Now I'm trying to imagine how to charge it with no handle on the oprod. :-) Possibly from some actuator handle mounted to the left side of the oprod? (Especially since I noticed that boss on the left side of the front of the oprod...)

Thanks from Jeff42899

The Bula Star Wars Rogue One Chassis System, you can only move the Op Rod using The Force.

Here's another pic before packing everything away. It's always a sad and tense moment when these crates leave! That's a gen 1 XM21 in the NSG EBR. I swapped it for a gen 2 prior to shipping. Those that guessed that the funky receivers that have the op rods without handles are bullpup actions are correct. It's completely modified to minimize the size of the rifle but still give you the benefits of the M14 action. There is a boss on the left side that mates to a non-reciprocating charging handle on the exterior of the chassis. There are no moving parts on the exterior of the rifle. I'm not a big bullpup fan, but I'm pretty pleased with the end result. It's 9lbs and a lot of fun. There is one more surprise we'll launch at the show.

Thanks from delong31, nf1e, DudleyDR and 8 others
