I'm on the fence whether it's worth having it mounted to the rifle vs. having a separate range finder that I can visually aim.
It's supposed to range accurately up to 1 mike in daylight , 2 miles at night on reflective targets.
I've only used it out to 600 yards and it's been spot on. Whatever the rifle points at , it ranges. It's much more stable than holding something in your hand. But it isn't cheap at $1k. It is made solid, like a tank.
