Cool The itch to go shooting

It's been 3 weeks since I have been to the range!

Waiting on some parts to arrive so I can put her back together. It's eating me alive knowing that she is just a barreled receiver. I need to shoot her soon or I might crack.

Anybody else get the itch to shoot or do I need to have a second M1a on hand for these times? Just isn't the same shooting other guns I Need the m1a!

Really? Your asking us fellow m14 junkies if you need a second m14 rifle? The question we addicts are asking is do we need 2 safes or just a really big one..... of course you need another m14!! And a back up for each back up....

I thought 3 was the minimum. 3 is better than 2. 2 is better than 1.

Hers the way it works. You buy spares for the first. Then you realize all you need is a reciever to finish it off at which point you don't need spares because you have a rifle.
Then repeat the cycle until you've had enough.
You live in MN, you know the long winter is going to birth a new M14 from the boarddom. Give into the force, it's inevitable.

I have learned 3 is minimum. Incase one is at the gun smith, you have one to shoot, and a spare incase that one breaks down.

Sometimes, especially on Friday nights, I get this urge, and I can't wait for the next range trip. I take her out of the safe and get down on the floor with her. I wrap her sling around my arm. I pull her tight into my should and hold her steady. When I just can't take it any longer I dry fire, again and again.

Lurp, you are fine, nothing to worry about.

I did some shooting in the desert outside of Las Vegas several weeks ago
I'm already checking the weather forecast for Talladega so I can go to the CMP range there again

Yes, I have the itch to go tune in my new 300 BLK, but alas, it's dumping snow here. Time to get the sled out and reload at night!

When I was into Cowboy Action Shooting that's what we said about Winchester '97 shotguns.

I'm lucky if I can go once a month...I'm envious of most of you (not you Jaker, that looks painful!).
