From the looks of it - they TOTALLY STOLE the ALCS buttstock setup from Sage - probably BOUGHT the buttstocks and installed them on their stock/fore-mount.

From an auction I saw - it uses a modified OpRod (red flag there), where the owner had to have it re-welded when it broke.

Cool looking gun, uber-rare - and I'd hate to have to try and find the "specialized parts" for this, if you broke something in the Gas/OpRod/Barrel sections of the Rifle.

The stock is actually a limited stock. Only a few had been in civilian hands. There is a block welded onto the operating rod that is pushed back by the piston. These stocks are worth some good money

That is pretty wicked, i'd love to see that op rod/gas system configuration in detail out of the stock but it seems all the literature on this system has all but dried up. At least now I know its name! Thanks guys

How does the gas port location compare to a Springfield SoCom? By that I mean how far from the chamber.
I'm wondering what type of loads this thing likes best.

There is a member here who has one and took a lot of pics of it and posted. Search it out, I don't remember the name of it. I think it is a different post then the one rydiak posted.
