I was thinking about taking the cheese grater from the SOCOM II and trying it on the Archangel.

The Infidel !

She's in progress and I had it out in the yard and it hides pretty well.

I think I started something with all this AAM1A painting.

Here's the thread for mine from a while back. It now has tactical quick disconnects for the scope, and a Harris bipod.

^^^ I did a "1-up".

I Cerakoted the rifle action.

Now, if only that would catch on. It really is worth it. WAYYY better than park.

Just review my old thread posted above with the pics, "Condor's M1A".

I went through the whole process. Is it laborious? Oh yes, very, but definitely worth it if you intend on making it a lifelong personal heirloom.

Ok, I'll post one more pic from my Cerakoting thread. It is when I first pulled it from the oven.

Cerakoted in Graphite black. The smoothest and finest finish one can apply to an M14 type receiver.

NOW THAT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Thanks from CNelson

Mine went in with NO removal of stock material. Thinking of painting it when I decide on a color scheme.
