sage collapsable stock questions

two questions:

1. can the rear half of the Sage stock be purchased separately and which stock number......

2. is the sage collapsable stock the same unit that is for the 870 but without the cheek riser.

I have the catalogue and price list...just can't quite sort it out.

I suppose I could call Sage directly but this way the info could be shared.

Yes which rear end are you looking for?

The Mod 0 type or Mod 1 type?

They both are available from Sage direct but they have limited numbers on hand.

I just recently ordered a Mod 1 type for my Sage Chassis. Price was around $150.

Now Im almost positive that the Mod 0 Type is more then double that price. Best thing to do is call Sage and see what they have.

You wouldn't happen to know if they have any Mod 1 butts in NSG, would you?

They dont stock them in any special colors, just black.

Im sure you can get one anodized in that color though.

Well...I have the price sheet in front of me and Mod 0 or 1 doesn't jump out at me.. the stock I am interested in has a telescoping butt plate that is attached to the rear of the receiver and has two rods with notches that slide through a base fixture that is attached to what would be just behind the m14 receiver. It is not the one for an AR extension tube or for the speedfeed stock. Sage also sells a similar one for the remington 870 shotgun.. Both of these stocks look similar and I thought that they may be the same.. There was a picture of a socom or scout with one of these stocks in one of these forums.....If I can find it, I'll be back with a link.
