I'm interested to see the video too. I just picked up a nice used Scout Squad for the black MOD 0 I had waiting for it. I'm going to get a trigger job done first and buy a few more goodies for it before I put mine together.

nope I am not an armorer, I have worked on a few rifles before, SKS, ak-47, steyr aug, m24/47 yugo, and now the m1a.

I just finished prepping for installation. Everything on this weapon was easy to disassemble . I like this system because the disassembly is straight forward no high tech "tricks" to remove parts that you could never guess by looking at the part.

Fortunately for me i was able to remove the op rod guide by tapping around the edge a bit, then with about 15 or so whacks with my big hammer. At first you think it won't budge but sure enough its moving slowly.

I'll edit all my video down to a a guide that will hopefully encourage non-gunsmith types like myself to give this EBR chassis a go.

I had my Sage knocked together in about 15 minutes and I'm definitely no gunsmith. 10 minutes was getting the guide block beat into place.

Just be sure to torque the top rail and op rod guide block screws to 65 in-lbs. how they say to do it in the instructions.

I also started off with the barrel whip screw about 1/8 turn backed off from just touching the barrel. I'll try it just touching the barrel now that I've got an established accuracy level without contact.

These stocks are an absolute work of art I'm looking forward to writing the full review, i got lots of video of the install, has some trouble but worked it out, the tolerances on this stock system are insanely close.

Sorry to keep bumping this but i didn't want to start a new thread. I have noticed that the kydex for end handgaurd is slight rubbing the op rod when its in motion. Is this bad? seems like it won't effect much but I thought i'd ask. id say under a centimeter is touching .
