anyone rocking the VLTOR stock? how about some pics!

So I've ordered all the parts and the gun, and the final product should be assembled shortly after I get it all in the mail. When I do, I will throw up my pics of my Socom II in the VLTOR modstock, I'm rocking a 512 Eotech with an angled foregrip and surefire flash light with a Vikings Tactical fl mount, ballanced with a tactical tailor 2 point adjustable sling pictures to follow!

thats a beautiful color, mine is odg. Are you thinking of chopping the barrel at all? or maximizing that barrel length with a higher powered optic?

VLTOR looks like a good system. How do you keep from losing your zero when you take it apart????

I am not well informed on that but i will be able to tell you after this weekend on that. Any other VLTOR able to chime in on the zero after disassembly?

Im going to run a red dot on my scout rail and zero. Then take it home clean it all up and go back the next day pop off 5 shots and see where I'm at.

Im thinking it will be just fine for my purposes(inside 500yrds humanoid target). I do want to switch to a metal chassis system eventually and have a a nice piece of glass (premier reticles maybe or a night force) and have a long range precision rifle. then run a LR 308,SCAR, or perhaps a socom II for a rapid engagement battle rifle.

such an expensive hobby we have.

any thoughts?

I'll remove and reinstall the rail next time at the range to see how much it shifts.
