NoExpert influenced me a lot on both these builds. I like the color I chose. Cleaning and lubing them, I must admire the workmanship and build quality that LRB did for me. I'm doing everthing very slowly and carefully on these builds.

I want to find a 3 point to 1 point sling for the Sage. I think slings are the hardest decision. They never show good pictures of how your suppose to do them and they never give you a good picture on a M-14 it seems.

If I ever find a Sage Mod 1 tan stock at a reasonable price, I'll do another LRB build. I already have Krieger 18.5" stainless barrels in both 1:10 and 1:11 twist sitting in the gun safe and am slowly collecting parts for that build.

I am noticing the weight of the guns. I'm almost 65 and need to find more time for exercise. Been working too much lately. Or maybe my 4 year old daughter, 3 year old son and 30 year old wife with long legs are sapping my strength.

As you can see from the guns, I do like fine workmanship on a sleek chassis. Just ask my wife.

I'm feeling frisky today.

I think I need to move to Thailand. I assume that your wife is from there, and she must have single friends, sisters, acquaintances.

Oh yeah, your rifles look outstanding also.

Thanks from cachunk

What kind of scope mount is on the Sage? I've never seen that before...I likey

EDIT: I see now that it is a part of the receiver. Did you have to do any modification to the stock for that to work?

It's an LRB M25 receiver and you have to mill a little off the top rail on the Sage for it to clear. I had to do it on mine also.

Now you see, I learned something. I didn't need to do anything! LRB did it all. Got to love those guys!

Sorry, no pretty girls in Thailand. But, you can see some ugly one in my gallery here:

Actually, I know a lot of nice Thai girls. Beautiful, educated, sweet, loving, VERY UNDERSTANDING, no nagging, and they make great mothers. Grandma is baby sitting and my wife will be here my last week in Texas. If any of you guys get to Thailand, PM me and you can drink my Scotch and I'll introduce you to some.

Ask and it shall be answered.

With all accessories-- sling, scope and Bipod, mag, but NO ammo:

The JAE Gen 3 is 19.05 pounds

The Sage is 14.00 pounds:
