Pretty cool neighborhood you live in there. If I tried that around here, they would take me away. Beautiful rifle btw.

Well, your welcome to move to FREE America.

Texas is a lot like New York and Boston in 1900.

Or as we say down here, "You're in Texas now boy!"

The lady that owns the gun range I shoot at has a day job as a judge.

And, we have BOTH kinds of music. Country AND Western.

You really got me thinking. This being Texas, I never thought twice about walking around private property with a privately owned rifle. Done that all my life. I guess attitudes are just different in different parts of the country. Got me thinking about how sad our founding fathers would be about what's happened in parts of the country and the sad state of the modern American mindset.

The local congressman was in our corporate offices of the company I own last month while I was in Thailand and gave my brother an flag that flew over the capitol and a Patriot Award for hiring Vets. One of the local TV stations interviewed my brother this week about the President's program to hire returning vets. They interviewed him, and both a retired West Point and an Annapolis graduates that work for us. The Annapolis guy is black. His 5 sons all graduated from Annapolis. One is a ex Nave SEAL that works for us too, but he is in Washington most of the time. There is 2 law offices and a bank that share the ground floor of our office building with us. Several times people brought in new guns they purchased to show others on coffee break. We'll get together a group to go to a local gun show 2 or 3 times a year. A bunch of the young guns in the office asked if they make quotas this quarter can we have a range day. Several of the young ladies asked if they could get some lessons shooting my new M25's.

I got a crazy ex Green Beret friend that drives like a maniac. Every time a policeman stops him he see the Purple Heart plates and thanks him for his service and asks him to please slow down. The only time I've been stopped by the police, I handed him my drivers license and Concealed Handgun License, he ask me what weapons I had in the car and where they were. I show him and he asked me to watch my speed and wished me a good day.

I guess I need to stop and think now and then that everywhere is not Texas. I've lived all over the U.S. in several states you would think I'd know that. But, you got me thinking.

Well, I said when I got a chance I'd take some pictures of my new guns with my wife showing them so you'd have a better looking model than me. Here they are:

Jojo with the LRB M25 Sage Mod 0:

And, Jojo with the LRB M25 JAE Gen 3

And another pic of the LRB M25 JAE Gen 3:

That would be nice to have in the back yard. The neighbors would wonder what I was preparing for, though.

Neighbor: "Hey, WarEagle! What's the foxhole for?"
Me: "Zombies."

After a Thai wife you'll never be happy with any other. She was hard to catch, she has a rich Thai mother and spoiled. Plus she was only 21 and she told me she was 25 because she wanted to improve her english. But, by 27 they calm down and after the first baby the transformation is complete. They are like 1950's wife. Their whole world is taking care of you and babies. Very sweet and loving.

But, if your too bad a boy they threaten to "feed the duck." That was they can't sew it back on.

But, here is a picture of her smiling with the gun. Her favorite guns are my Glock 30 and my Mossberg 500 with only a pistol grip and no stock, and my M4gery. We may go shooting today if it's not too cold. I'll get some pictures of her in full MultiCam.

And, both my babies:

Yes, the shadowing gives it a 3D look.

Jojo at the range today. Shooting my M25's and Glock 30, in MultiCam. It was a fun day, if a bit cold. It's suppose to be warn and sunny Tuesday. We'll go all day before we go back to Thailand.

Experience with the Polaris side by side UTs? Esp. the diesel powered units?

Good morning Americans! Today I'll be prepping to go out tomorrow since the goo-mud is finally subsiding here in central WA state and I can walk around again without needing cleats! Gawd that was disgusting a week ago!

I have my new Uberti Baby 1871 Rolling BLock (.22LR) to toy with, and will also be sighting in my customer's new Sako 85, 300 Win Mag.

BTW, being a good "Cherman" ex-patriot, he chose a Swarovski Z3 scope which is, in a word, well. crap! For $999, he got a miserly 1" tube, no parallax adjustment, even though the factory parallax-free distance is @ 200 meters! My gawd! You should see the parallax it exhibits @ 60 - 80 meters! By moving you head just bit you can swing that reticle around at well over 6" @ 50 yd, and it's still doing it at 100 yds, to the (est.) tune of about 2" in all directions.

I tried to show him a good US-made Leupold, one that would cost him at least $3 - $400 less, and which had a side-adjustable parallax & focus knob, but he's determined to "Go Euro". Too bad he doesn't know that the "cheaper" (i.e.: << $1000!) Swaros are all made in Taiwan, but are, as the packaging says proudly, "Assembled in America!", with a tiny little 'Mur'Kan flaggie.

Oh well, huh? One born every minute!

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to putting some targets out least 300 yds to sight in my Lucy ("Lu-thee" when I'm less happy with her...), and won't have to mud-slop me way out to those far ranges!. Pix to follow.

Als am taking the time to install the new adjustable gas port and the SadLak TiN coated gas piston. I know, unnecessary, right, Ron? Oh, plus the revised front sling mount soz I can also add that sling. One that will allow me to sit on a box seat behind the 'podded rifle and stabilize it all! For now, I'll used an old solution: the ol-reliable crossed oak stix!

Oh PS: anyone here with experience with the Polaris brand of side-by-side UTs? I'm going to be buying a brand-new unit, and am partial to their nifty two seat, two cyl Yanmar diesel powered unit. "Soz, you know hunny, I can more easily get to my fav hunting spots that I can no longer clamber up to! You don't want me hanging around here all depressed all summer long, now do you?" Oh, and BTW, those bad boy UTs also plow snow!

That and a good used toy-box trailer so I can head out to the various shoots and be comfortable when I get there, but don't have to pitch a tent! Just pull out an aluminum folding chair for me and my son, crack open a pair of near-frozen Bud Lights, and sit and watch the sun go down and the laughter and fun coming from the campfires out at the Quigley shoot! FUN!

Have a good'n, guyz!

Dare I ask, how does she shoot?

The rifle, not the wife

Incredible accuracy or what? For that kind of $$$$$ I would sure hope so.
