Question Walnut SOCOM 16 ???

Has anyone dressed their SOCOM 16 in a walnut stock, or do most people just keep the synthetic one that comes with it?
Would be neat to see some modernized steel & wood eye candy in the form of a SOCOM 16!

Yes, but it keeps kicking me off and saying that I don't have permission to use that function...or something like that.
Thanks though.

Maggotman,
That is awesome. What a looker! How does it shoot?

Thanks for the kind words! Shoots really well...just high by 3 inches at the lowest rear sight setting. Not bad thing if your shooting a 6" target and have an ice cream hold:)

Man that thing is exactly what I was hoping to see. I am a huge fan of the wood and steel look......wouldn't mind picking up one of those for HD use to compliment my Rem 1187. Just awesome!!

Thanks from Maggotman

Here is a picture of my Socom 16 in full wood.

I found the stiffness of the wood stock helped attain better consistency.
And it gets looked over at the range quite a bit.

Thank you.
I just checked Boyds, they are out of the walnut handguards at this time.
They go for $32.00, less than what others sell them for.
They are taking backorders. But it may be some time before they fill the orders.

Has anyone noticed if their groups have tightened up since switching to a wood stock?
