Those are the ugliest rifles I have ever seen!

You need to give them to me so I can dispose of them properly

Someone call the police, those rifles are mine, well ok their not but I sure wish they were. Have fun and if you ever fell that they are not preforming to the standards you wish for, and want to get rid of them let me know.

Yeah baby!!!!

Those two EBR's are Magnificent and Awesome!!!!!!........glad you finished the Install of the dummy selector switches too.

About a good 100 rounds should break'um in and settling should take place.

I believe you and another member here named allenst65 both completed an Sage USMC M39 EMR Clone to the "T" despite minor parts not accessible,............no longer available to the general public and or just hard to find items.

Looking forward for a great range report with both targets and more photos on them two.

EBR porn at its greatest I say

Thanks to everyone!!!
It was a great experience learning from other modern M14 owners and using my spare time to research about the variations in the Mod 0 and Mod 1 platforms. I have thoroughly enjoyed searching for each and every part over the years, and then to finally witness it all come together.

A few questions were asked:

I bought the XS Sight Systems front and rear sight directly from XS. I would call them in person and ask if they have anymore. I bought my set over a year ago and got lucky, they only had a few left over from military contract orders.

I chose the Wilcox mount that you see as a replacement for the NF top scope ring, because I wanted to traditionally stay with the milspec build of the Mod 1. This is how the Mod 1 was issued to the Navy, so I went with the 12 O'clock position even though over the years a 1-2 O'clock position as evolved to prove that it shaves off a "golden" second. I will have to report back.
