Smile US Tatical Supply has Sage NAVY Mod1 EBR Stock for Sale

I was surfing around the web and found that US Tactical Supply is selling a very limited number of SAGE NAVY Mod1 EBR Stocks. I found this very interesting and would love to have one! Looks like it comes with a few extras including the Magpul CTR Stock and some Tango down grips. They look really BA IMHO....check out the pics below. What do yall think?

I'm still not on the whole "EBR" scene, I figured that was the price for a "special" stock as they make it out to be. Just out of curiousity, how much would these usually cost new?

My NSG Mod 0 was $700 at Clydes Armory but without the Magpull goodies. Cant imagine that Mod 1 costing double that. I dunno.

Thanks from jmoore

Mine new from Clyde Armory was $869. For $1600 there should be a rifle in it.

Believe the price hike is a result of the stock possibly being Gen. 1. US Tactical Supply's website states these are "contract" US Navy Mod 1's and the only "contract" Mod 1's I know of are the Gen. 1. If this is the case these stocks are the exact same as the (1 of 11) that were released from Clydes Armory back in the day.

Whether or not anyone can justify the price hike for these stocks, if they are Mod 1 Gen. 1's they are a piece of military history.

Here is a Mod 1 Gen. 1 (stock on top) for example:

Why are those stocks half-dressed?

IMHO.........Not bashing

U.S Tactical Supply Photo

No flash

M1A96819 Photo w/flash
Top> Sage USMC M39 EMR
Middle> Sage EBR Mod 1
Bottom> Sage EBR NSG (Navy Grey Seal)

Photo by mragu w/ normal outdoor light condition

Photo above shows the first batch of one of twenty MOD 1's delivered from to the United States Navy Seals from Crane.

The only significant difference is the color of the contract EBR MOD1 for the US Navy. My photo and Teufelhunden MOD 1's are darker shade of color while the Contract EBR MOD 1 by U.S. Tactical is the lighter grey silver color. The last EBR on my photo is a MOD 0 NSG and is also the same color as the contract MOD1.

In regards to this comparison, I believe this may be or is a legitimate Contract Sage EBR MOD 1's from U.S. Tactical Supply. If the Silver Grey color is consistent throughout the chassis, then I say its good to go........price wise........that's a toss up!!!!

If Sage International, Ltd. and or U.S. Tactical Supply would provide some kind of significant stamp or documentation/Authenticity that these stock are for a U.S. Navy Seal Contract from Sage International, Ltd. Only then I would justify the price tag of $1600.00.

Any member here from U.S. Tactical Supply? Please chime in here to your input.

Just my In My Honest Opinion

Sapp,

Im not on the EBR scene either but damn everytime I see a photo of one of these babies I want to pick one up and make her mine. Pick one of those up, slap a USCG break on my scout and good to go....

Then i remember that I can barely afford to shoot my baby as is and that stock is almost as much as another stick. :(

Shop around, alamo tactical shipped me a mod 0 for $550 and just got one off gunbroker for $600 shipped, mod 0 also. Both were technically "used" but i'd give both 90-95%.

Why not just shoot the enemy with the other end?
