Just got back from the range............new load for my Rogue.

180gr. Nosler Ballistic tip (combined Technology
Lake city Brass
wolf primer
H4895, 41.5gr.
COL 2.750" (she likes to Jump)

I have a torn Rota-tor Cuff............it was killing me today, but I managed to shoot from a bipod in the prone position .59 MOA @ 100 yds. Here's a pic of my 2.005" group at 300yds. I did shoot out to 400yds today, but my shoulder was pretty aggrevated by then and I shot 1.25 moa (4.8" group)

I'm going to stretch this load out to 1000yds next week............I'll let you all know how it does. By the way, my rifle has been modified to shoot heavy, hot loads, don't try this with a stock M1a!

He seems to be genuinely a good guy and I think a lot of time he's just misunderstood on these forums. Anyway, after Fitting his new scope and rings I gave him a motivating Marine Corps rifle class (i'm not sure he really needed it) and showed him a few tricks. Here's pics of the results...... makes me want to dish out some more money for a Smith build (and No, I don't work for SEI!)

Interesting

Just curious....Hows the LOP for you? I'm really really considering one of these but was worried the LOP looked a little short for me. I know they have the 2" spacer, and have been told they are coming out with a 4"...

LOP is 15.25"............and is 17.25" with the 2" spacer.............We are not coming out with a 4" spacer. A person can get over 30" OAL with the a Socom 16 by using a 2" spacer with the SEI threaded gas lock and SEI MUZZLE BRAKE.
