That's a great link, thanks for posting it. Motorcycling the Ho Chi Minih trail would be quite the adventure.

Yes, there's a LOT of unexploded bombs laying around that area.

Well worth the time to look thru the pictures and read the narrative. An important time in our history that should not be forgotten. Many of the villages appear as the must have during the war, with the people populating the area subsisting with a similar lifestyle. Yet, with all our technology and industrial and military might we were unable to successfully deter them from their goal.

Some beautiful country, and an interesting bike trip. It reminds me how much that war cost, and I don't mean just money. One thing that can't be seen is the damage done to the people by Agent Orange.

It's been 50 or so years and they couldn't rebuild any bridges? Maybe send them our liberals to get it done. Those drop tank boats were cool. I would own one

And yes, that would be a great ride. I approve of his bike. The xr650l is ideal for that environment.

The 2 Marine Dogtags should be retrieved and given to their next of kin.

These photos are proof our govt. and military does not learn from history. You can't bomb people into the stone age that are already living in the stone age.

Screw the middle east and afcrapistan, let them kill each other. Bombing them does nothing but give them what they really want - war.

Thanks from Hobo Hilton and hardheaded
