Was there from Feb 84 through December 87. Mostly at Camp Kinser, MTM Co. 3rd Maint Bn.

Also worked at Naha port in 84 for 8 months on the Ro Ro ships.
TAD twice to Korea for team spirit. TAD to the PI a couple of times, (Subic Bay). 30 days TAD for one days work, 29 days of party time.

30 days TAD to Hansen for Division matches. The first week was rifle and pistol requal; I still can't believe that I was waved a miss on my second shot on the kneeling position, and still rifle qualified with a score of 241.

Scary? in what way. In 87 gate 2 was getting a face lift. The Okinawans was getting rid of the bars and brothels in the immediate area and turning it into a more family oriented place. Lots of shops there.

The stage is still alive eh! Been there. I am sure you saw the spoon.
