I went to school in melington and did my OJT at Santa Anna and then did my training for fix wing aircraft at El Toro and yes they are all closed sad but true.
Do you remember walking on the Santa Anna flight line just before sunrise and watching the sun come up over the flightline and the shadows of the CH53'S and the CH46'S sort of looked like big bugs as the sun came up I think of that sight ever once in a while, it brings back good memories of those day and way thank you.
