California law...

As of 1 Jan, 2017, "Bullet Button" firearms are considered to be "Assault Weapons" in California:

https://oag.ca.gov/firearms

I'm sure that California residents are aware of this, but this is just a reminder for others who may be going to California with their bullet button AR, thinking you are in compliance - or if you are selling such a weapon to someone in California thinking that if you install a bullet button it will be legal there (not having to be registered with the CA DOJ), be aware of this and be sure to dot all "i's" and cross all "t's".

New restrictions on ammunition sales to California go into effect on 1 Jan 2018.

I hope this alert can save someone from grief.
