A2 upper identification

I recently purchased an A2 upper form a gent here on the forum. Nice piece and fantastic price, Thanks!! I was told that it was a bushmaster, and I have o reason to doubt the member that sold it to me. However, I was recently at the local gunshop doing what most due at gun shops and talked guns. I was there to borrow of all things a carbine stock wrench(never had the need for one until recently) when one of the counter dudes check my A2 upper and said he thinks its an armilite. I have no clue nor do I really give a hill of beans if it is or not. It sure does fit nice on my Eagle Arms Lower and the colors match pretty nice as well. What made him think it is an Armilite is a symbol that actually looks like an A on the side of the rear sight. This might not be the best pic but I think it will work, any thoughts?
