I asked BCM if they can build my upper, but they only offer what's listed. No custom work.

I've got my lower all pieced together and ready but I need to get my upper.

Looking for a 16" mid length light weight upper receiver assembly with a low profile gas block. Who stocks them, or builds them?

Probably a bunch of folks. Getting one that is done right and has 'milspec' parts is the key. The last four kits that I built were from J&T Manufacturing and they all work well.

Check out CLE. Compass Lake Engineering. Top notch builders. They just did an A2 NM upper for me on a Krieger post ban hbar. You might ask why send out an AR to get built. Well they machine flats on the side of the barrel and use set screws to hold the front sight base on. I'm not tooled up to do that. Great work and very reasonable. Give them a call at 850-579-1208. Thank you. I found EXACTLY what I wanted already assembled on the PK site, and it ended up over 300$ less than BCM. Not counting the labor I'd have to put into the BCM upper to get it where I want it.

Why don't you invest in some tools, do some reading, and build it yourself?

It's not really that hard.

Saw that coming. I've already got all the tools at work, I could really just care less though. The shop is backed up with guns for two months and I don't need to be in my bosses way either.
