Talked myself into a scope for my A2 due to older eyes. Once mounted eye position/cheek wield will be difficult. Decided against another upper for a few reasons. What is currently out there to provide appropriate height for a scope mounted on the carry handle?

A simple thing to try is the cheek riser as supplied with the Colt Delta Elite HBAR, also made by/sold by Cherokee. Just bolts onto the stock to give cheek weld with a carry handle mounted scope.

There's at least one on GunBroker right now, not mine, but they work.

Never had any trouble with a carry handle mounted scope myself. But I don't run twitchy high magnification scopes up there either.







The Magpul CTR stock on this 20" barreled rifle accepts a snap-on riser, but I've never felt the need.
