...I'd like to find one like it for my 48k SAI NM, but they are kind-of pricey....
This is the pic I was referring to...

Hardest part to find for this setup is the AWC mount. You see one listed? GRAB IT!

Mount on the rifle of the guy standing does not look like the Army Weapons Command mount.
Yes, the caption reads:"The other M14 has the night vision adopter bracket in place on the receiver." (bracket for the AN/PVS-2 Starlight scope)

My CLONE M1C G&H mount on the bottom and a civilian version on top. Notice the difference in lever position for LOCKED. Sold it to a forum member, and it's sister (the levers swung the other way). Swapped the levers from two mounts so they operate in the same direction as the military G&H mounts. Also, turned the threaded inserts inside-out so they were flush on the other side like their steel military brethren.

It's a night vision scope mount...

Edit: Oops, I see Random Guy beat me to it. I guess "reading the whole thread first is fundamental..."

Here's one to think about. I picked this up with a buy it now last year.

It's an Army Weapons Command base, lower portion of an M1C Griffin & Howe mount, mated with some cut down MC-1 T4 rings. I figured it was worth the sum of the parts, so went for it.

I set it up on an M1A with a commercial Kollmorgen scope and took some pictures. I have USMC Kollmorgen scopes, but didn't want to take them off of my USMC 1952 Snipers and risk scratching them up.
