armscorp receiver from e-gunparts.com

Anyone every purchase an armscorp receiver from e-gunparts.com? Just wondering if the receivers are in ok condition. Currently I am either going to buy an armscorp receiver from e-gunparts, sarco, or armscorp. E-gunparts and sarco inc are both selling them for $379, beating armscorp. I don't want an "alternate" receiver though. Sarco stated they had a few of those and understand fully that I do not want one of those. Wonder if e-gunparts has the alternates or standards?

IMHO Your best bet is to buy from Armscorp, that way you get the right one from the start

Sarco Inc. sells perfectly good receivers and seconds (minor or major flaws).

GPC sells only good receivers from past experience.

If you buy direct from Armscorp, ask for Mark.

If you buy from GPC, ask for Cassandra who is the parts manager (now that cat is out of the bag  ).

Delloro,

What were the problems with your Armscorp receiver?

headspace is too long, fron receiver ring was too thick, requiring the barrel shoulder to be turned down, edges in the receiver that needed to be smoothed, TG lockup too tight, connector lock hole too small.

That sounds about the norm for all Armscorp receivers no matter where you buy them. I have four including a pre-ban, made in 4/93 and they all have those problems, though only the pre-ban's connector hole was too small. One even had more problems and only the pre-ban did not have an under sized oprod lugway.

These problems are easily corrected by an experience armorer, but for the newbie builder they are a real pain! Thank you very much for the information.

I got mine from dealer's warehouse, and it went together smoothly. My only beef was the markings on it look like whoever did them had really shaky hands.
