NAVY SSR,USMC Match,Navy M25 Pics

Here are 3 M14 McMillan stocks that i acquired over the yrs, these are going to be built into rifles at some point.
The desert Camo stock was a USMC shooting team stock, early version with faux screw liners, will be building this into a clone of the rifle it once was
Second stock is s early Navy grey SSR piece,it will be built up as a Navy SSR clone
Third stock is a later Black McMillan which will be used for my Navy Seals Desert Storm era M25 rifle
I will post details later on the specific parts i have for each of these builds, stay tuned.

Nice stocks and a great piece to begin your builds with. The early SSR stock is pretty rare, and a neat find. I also need a black McMillan for my prospective XM25 project. Please keep us posted....

A quick question reference Navy M14s.........where do the tri-color (blue, black, gray) McMillan stocks come into play? One of those sold in the PX here a few months ago. I wish I'd jumped on it, but whatever. Thanks!

I wonder if McMillan will still make them. I'd like a new one!

Yea, I called about a year or more ago and asked the same question and the answer was the same, no we can't do that.

Forceman - what are you going to use for the scope mount re your prospective M14 SSR project? The Navy Crane set-up or a replica of those parts would seem a rather difficult part of the project...just curious, thanks.

Speaking of Navy team M14 stocks, here's an oddball stock, a Navy match McMillan stock in plain grey (appears to be the same color as Forceman's M3A stock...and this color may be unique to vintage Navy stocks).

Side:

Bottom shot:

...its not mine, but given this thread, I figured others might be interested in seeing a Navy custom ordered "battleship gray" M1A stock as used on some of the Navy double-lugged match rifles.

Thanks from forceman and XM25Ren
