Is There a Parts Diagram ... M1A / M14?

I'm looking to 'assemble' an M14 the next time around.

As I'm not brave enough to attempt a "Complete Build" yet ... I think I'll buy a barreled receiver, and go from there.

Is there a 'Parts Diagram' for the M14, as opposed to, a Parts List?

Thanks

The original (1959) version of FM 23-8 was very detailed, to include taking apart the trigger assembly and rear sight. Much of this was left out of the 1965 version.

If you just Google 'M14 parts Diagram", you will get more of 'em than you can shake a stick at and you can choose the one you want. Some are even big enough and good enough quality to make your screen wallpaper on your computer until you get tired of it.

At one time SAI used to sell a large paper diagram you could pin to a wall. Sarco used to sell them also. I sure you can find one on the internet. They were fairly cheap.

I bought this diagram from Fulton armory and then framed it.
