Talking Introducing Bula M14 TFL53. A simple build with a light touch of modern.

I've been sitting on TFL53 for months now. I've been working on other people's rifles for a while now and I finally made some time to get mine done. I originally was going to use a 22" Bula NM barrel but I wanted to do a lightweight build. I ended up using a standard weight 19.25" Bula barrel. This rifle is made with all availabe Bula parts.

It's sitting in a GI fiberglass krinkle stock with an M14.CA SHG scout hand guard. This rifle came together easily and quickly. I just finished it today and it hasn't been fired yet. Without the magazine, it weighs 9lbs, 5 ounces.

Looks great. Not a big fan of the black stock but it looks really good on that rifle.

Thanks from tonyben

Thanks! I also forgot to add. I was going to slap my Burris FastFire III on the scout rail, but I sent it out for repair. When I get it back, it will go on the scout hand guard.

Nice. Not too crazy about the rail. But it does look nice though.

Sweet looking rifle Tony.

What's their hand guard made out of? Aluminum? Steel? I'm assuming metal from the picatinny rail.

Thanks from tonyben

Excellent, even if not using a Scout optic, that forward rail looks good on it!
