Just curious as a newby; but what is the difference in the Bula TG and a reworked standard one for the money? I only ask because mine was set at 4.5# and breaks clean by the gunsmith. Several different areas were filed/removed off of the parts and then re-blued. Mine was done by Steve Edwards (Hook trained) and I watched him do the work and also triple check and adjust to 4.5#.

Nothing really, if you have a hook B. TG than you have something that you can't buy off the shelf. The Bula TG is as good as you can get off the shelf so to speak IMO for the money. It is new and made in the states. To be specific not much difference one is brand new and made right from the start and the other is old and modified to be what one would want in a TG.

My 2 cents.

I basically lucked out and someone referred me to Steve Edwards (Hook spent his last years with him and was his good friend from way back) and he went thru the entire rifle. I never knew that there were so many little things that effect accuracy. I know that he mechanically trued it and ground off stuff that I didn't even know about. He did tell me that under 4.5# trigger could result in doubles or worse.

I'm not trying to stir up the pot, just wanting to know more about these guns. I'm just waiting on my Sadlak mount and a DMR scope to come in. Then it's back out to the range and have some more fun.

Yep they do.
These guys are not fooling around. All parts are quality.
I used to use M1 trigger/sears and hammers.
Jeff has made things as easy as pie.

Do they make any with the trigger angled for stocks with a pistol grip, like the EBR?

I don't believe they do at this point. Isn't that what God gave us adjustable fingers for?
You must be asking about a snowflake trigger. Humor

True. Every little bit helps though, and I've got short fingers that didn't come from the factory with adjusters

There have been trigger shoes available to take care of that for a few decades now.

Shooting Sight makes one. Not cheap but considering a trigger shoe costs $50, not terrible.

The site is tough to navigate but http://shootingsight.com/
