You guys should research what you are posting before doing so.
Your saying you can take something full auto to CA without federal paperwork by changing out a muzzle device?

I don't think so.

I think he was referring to the semi-auto Fulton.

More pics of the Winchester

Here are some full pics of the Winchester. I don't know how to break it down yet to get to serial #'s on all the parts. It does have a selector switch but it doesn't move. (Or it's stuck) When you keep the trigger depressed and rack the rifle, the hammer follows it. It does not lock back. If you rack it without the trigger depressed, it locks back till you pull the trigger. Is this a selector switch or is this full time rock and roll? Is the switch supposed to rotate? Still searching for the paperwork.
Thanks in advance.

More pics

Here are some more pics. What do I need to look for as far as serial #'s are concerned and where do I find them when I get around to breaking this down?

no selector or disconnector visible, and receiver appears to be welded under the charger clip guide...

post 20 1st pic, take it out of the stock and give us a picture of the other side of that adapter
post 3 picture has an h shaped post sticking up that holds the full auto parts.if it has this,it's a full auto. you cannot take this out of state it resides in without form 5330.20,if your the owner.look for any nfa xfer paperwork.if you don't have any, strip the gun of all parts.notify atf and say pop died and we have this winchester m14 serial number xxxxx .can you please check and see if you have a listing for it in your nfa files.or have lawyer do this.
worse place scenario,if it's a full auto, not registered, owner is deceased. hide the rest of the stuff.

This has the mid-oprod dismount notch of a real M14; & it also looks like a welded receiver.

Short answer to OP's original question; take the Fulton Armory rifle. Longer answer to the question that exactly wasn't asked; continue to look for paperwork/permission to own a fullauto or remilled former machinegun. If no permission exists, strip the rifle & surrender or destroy the receiver per applicable laws. Polack provided more detailed guidance, but tread carefully. You don't wan't to get caught possessing an unregistered machinegun.

All that said, I'm not a lawyer. Even on the internet.
