It has a very nice stock that's about all I can honestly say from a picture and some text that may or may not be true.

I'd suggest it's a steel at the listed price. A similar new rifle out of my shop would run about $4200. With only 100 rounds through it, it should be good as new.

Any thoughts on all the wear/missing park on the op-rod as well as the bolt lugs? Remember it says light use only 100 rounds and no warranty. Love that there is only 2 pictures of only 1 side.

Ted, yours may cost more but there is no way the op-rod would look like that coming out of your shop--even after 100 rounds it wouldn't look like that. I've seen your builds, they're one of the best you can buy.

I don't know that the finish wear is such a big issue. Most surplus parts have some wear and the parts may have been supplied by the owner who may have had the rifle built on his parts kit. As long as the parts are serviceable I think it's still a good value considering what went into it. LRB now has the ability to produce match grade firearms. They used to have bedding done by McMillan and they use modifications done by others. Thank you for your comments on my work.

I would get the serial number and call LRB to see if they actually did the work.

The oprod probably came from a parts kit. The wear looks like it's from a M14 connector. I would be more concerned with the tab.

Thanks from tpf68
