Wow! Good info. I got lucky and built this all Winchester build on a LRB receiver for under $1900.

Built my first one...

I saw your rifle, very nice indeed. You built it correct? If someone else does it, it goes up another $500. or $600, most here will have it done. I used only new or like new parts and made sure all parts were Winchester parts to include, well just about everything.

Obviously Winchester stamped parts(66118, OM) or they came from new stock.

If you follow my recipe you'll end up $3500 or higher, remember I did my Winchester build three years ago, now you can't even find the new in wrap parts that would require.

I think looking back I was being a bit too conservative in my estimate, if it could even be done.

There is also a potential BAR (forged receiver) group purchase in the Gedunk and it only needs a couple of more commitments to get to 50 plus receivers.

Yes I built it. I got really lucky on the parts kit. I got it for a 1000 of of GB. The poster had it listed in the wrong area and no one bid on it but me. I did not use the stock though. I also added a KMT trigger guard.
