Rifle looks great BadGnus! Looks like it means business.

How do you like the Primary Arms optic? I am planning on getting a few soon, Anything you can compare it to? Was it worth it?

Thanks from BadGnus

Lookin good, your kind of high with that scope and it looks like you can lower it quite a bit.

Whats the height on your rings?

Thanks from BadGnus

Looks sweet! But, I recommend lower and better quality rings when you can. $1,500 rifle, and $20 rings does not sit well with the accuracy gods. From my experience, any rings under $50 do not qualify for use with my M1A's/M14's. Burris makes some nice rings and affordable rings.

How does she group?

Thanks from BadGnus

Can't compare it because of the FFP.
That said I do like the glass and Knob movement is crisp. Reticle is kind of "busy" from what I'm used to.

Thought I purchased Bassett's recommended rings but have wrong product number. I'll check out the Burris. Thanks. Haven't taken her out yet.I'm on spring break so it will be soon.

Careful with ring measurements .

How they measure depends on the manufacturer with most quality manufacturers measuring from the bottom of the ring at the base to the middle of the scope tube. .875 is typical.
Your manufacture is using from the base to the bottom of the scope tube.
A 30mm tube is almost 1.25". So you could go another .5 inches or more lower.
Hope this makes sense.

Looking good! This is what I am looking to do with my M1A loaded, just waiting on the parts to arrive. How do you like the Bassett mount? Do you shoot left handed? I noticed the pouch on the left side of the cheek riser.

Thanks from BadGnus

I just strapped that same cheekriser on my supermatch. Should be able to shoot with the scope somewhat accurately now . . .

Thanks from BadGnus

I like it for the see thru option will find out soon it takes scope too high.
I shoot left eye dominant.
Manipulate a right handed bolt gun with right hand, odd but works well for me.

I use the same mount when I shoot a scope, where did you get the cheek riser? Amazon? I like it. I don't use one much, but I do have a need for one.

Thanks from BadGnus
