Hungry M1A NM

I'm addicted. Ignoring my other guns. I just got my first M1A NM in February and man is it Hungry. Rainy here today so spending the day reloading to feed my new habit. Had to order more brass, bullets and powder. My range only has 200 yds. Going to a range next weekend to stretch her legs out to 725 yds. Can't wait. Man this thing is addicting.

This forum can also be addictive. I have gained a lot. Thanks

Thanks from 2336USMC, Lurp, JEFFJP_N_JJ and 1 others

This forum is not the place to recover from that addiction.

Keep us posted on that long range shooting.

Awards Showcase

Don't forget, everything that eats also has to poop. Rainy days are great for cleaning out the gas system and running a patch down the barrel.

I am going to use 40.5gr H4895 with 168gr SMK and 168gr hornaday ELD, LC brass CCI LR, 2.80 OAL. Loaded some yesterday. Going to my 200 yd range today to chrono.
I have not put this gun at 200yds on paper yet but I can hit a 6 inch plate at 200 every shot off a bench. I have shot some 1.5 inch groups at 100 with a different load, lees than an inch at 50yds.
