Bula XM21

My Bula XM21...I first installed this fine rifle in an E2 stock and was shooting with it on a bipod. I am not really accustomed to shooting with a bipod, so I just installed this into this old synthetic stock and put on a web sling.

My range is quite muddy today, so kept my shooting at only 20 rounds and at only 100 yards. All fired slinged up, prone firing position.

I have found that with extended rings, I have good eye relief while slinged up and the low mounting afforded by the ingenious way of machining the mounting rail into the receiver also gives me good cheek weld to the stock while firing.

I personally believe this is the best scope mounting method available if you want an optics only M14.

Jeff at Bula, has really done a lot for the M14 community! By the way, the rifle is MOA capable if the Rifleman is.

Thanks from IRON WORKER, Sweeney and Rich D

Nice work John.
Looking forward to a little mud here in CT. Weatherman is suggesting we could get a couple of feet of snow tonight with 60 mile an hour winds.
Your XM21 looks great in that stock.

Couldn't agree more on the XM-21. Love mine and it is sub MOA when I shoot it correctly.
Jeff has been great for our community.

Xm21s are top shelf. This one with 18.5 inch barrel is also sub moa.

Steel Weaver rings and a Redfield Revolution 4x12 scope, not a very expensive scope, but between this rifle and others, it has well over a thousand rounds shot out from under it. Tracks good too. I have a Leupold VXIII 6x18 with target knobs I'm thinking of mounting on it.

Art, your posts on these rifles gave me the inspiration to try one, now I'm planning on buying another one! Next one will have a short barrel.

They're both awesome. Tony Ben is bedding mine this week in an M2A. It is already scary accurate. Waiting to see if it can possibably improve in a bedded stock.

Jeff Miller has been awesome indeed. So ever thankful for his kindness.

Those foreword bias mounts probably work quite well with that Redfield
The eye relief is pretty generous on those scopes

Quite the antenna set up there Art. Not as big as that monster I saw in Arecibo but I'm sure effective nonetheless.
