Installing a Rader Trigger

In order for the nut on the stud to clear I need to remove some material, ,guessing 1/8", beside the pillar bolt housing. I plan to make the cut a radius, not a straight cut. Will this be a problem? Will the trigger operate properly with only a small distance between the stock and the trigger stud? Any advice or installation tips would be appreciated. Thank You

Hello 08 Cayenne, I've had a Rader Trigger for about 15 yrs. now. Just use a small round file and take out only what you need to clear the nut. No problem doing this. I also replaced the adjustment nut with an aircraft nut only because it looked like the standard nut might losen-up while firing rifle. Hope this helps you.

Thanks from 08 Cayenne and Rich D

Never seen a Rader trigger in person. I'd love to find one someday, but they are rare as hen's teeth, and expensive.

Thanks from 08 Cayenne

After searching for years with no luck I've found 2 in the last year, just being in the right place at the right time. Both look like new and have homes.

Cayenne. See this post. You might find it useful. How to take apart and assemble the Rader TG.

SAI M25 Trigger Group Install Report

Back about that time I posted quite a bit about the Rader TG. If you do a search of my posts back then you might also find those useful too.

Main thing you want to know is be very careful going below 3.5 lb TP unless you have outstanding trigger discipline to avoid full auto.

Thanks from 08 Cayenne
