Not a bad price.

Had a guy just last year at the Dallas GS offer me 2 M14 receivers with the selector legs cut off; no Hahn markings. I ran! Shame we couldn't have done that to ALL of the receivers instead of cutting them up. Would have made the government $millions.

Surprised there hasn't been more response to this being sort of a hot subject.

I think most here who would have been interested in the Hahn, have bought into the JRA rewelds. It use to be if you wanted an M14 USGI heeled receiver from one of the big four, Hahn was your only choice.

Still very cool history.

Only heard about Hahn Machine, but never saw one until now (Thanks). Searching more on them ran into link below (2013) from guys including Ted, JD, and Lee Emerson. So these were validated by the 3 Letter? Thinking yes as on GB, but these daze who knows. This one on GB as 612379648 where the cut/weld is directly above the second "H" in Hahn between the bolt stop and elevation knob like JRA did/does it? The picture of the one from the following thread is long gone from GB, and said it was bid above Buy Now. Boomer posted another saying it is compliant, but the picture is a different view than all the others.

is this a legit hahn receiver?

Anybody remember what that one sold for or find out its eventual disposition?

No link ? I was @ a gun show many years ago and ran into one,it was $1500 bucks ? I kinda knew the kid that bought it cuz he came to pistol/rifle matches in our area. I ran into him out in the parking lot on the way out and asked to look at it again,we pulled it out of the stock and it had all the correct markings from what I could see,,darn nice rifle ! Looks like they are worth a couple bucks more than the $1500 now,,LOL

Wasn't sure of policy on linking to auction sites.

I think its just you can't link to a auction site if YOU are selling something. I could be wrong. No problem.

I remember seeing the Hahn M14s being sold in the Shotgun news years ago. I don't remember what they were selling for back then, but as a young Guy with a Wife and Kids there was no way that I could afford one back then. At least Uncle Sam Loaned me a Genuine M14 for 3 years. There is nothing that that $4K Hahn will do that an LRB or Bula, or SAI won't

Pretty much the standard is Ok to post the item/auction numbers but not a direct link.

This the one?
# 612379648

More than I would pay for a reweld.

Thanks from WaM14gunner

I've never seen a selector cutout filled like that, interesting contrast.
