Hey Ren,
She's giving one minute groups and yet it seems that your parts are "basic"; specifically a non-NM barrel or unitized gas assembly or tuned trigger group. (?) Is this accuracy being achieved by proper assembly only. Or is the Zen of the rifle's spirit giving the accuracy?
I have to say as a newcomer, but one that appreciates beauty in the M14, this has to be the best I've seen. And I'm frickin' anal!

Cheers

Thanks from XM25Ren

That red lipstick on the lettering makes her look mighty fine.

Sir, now you've done it...you've gone an embarrassed me. That doesn't happen easily I might add.

Thank you for the fine compliment.

Jon Wolfe did the build and it does have some national match features like glass bedding, tuned trigger, but for the most part she was built with standard M14 (TRW) parts, all in excellent condition.

Oh and that makes two of us(frickin' anal), it is a cross we must bear.

Ren

That is a beautiful rifle Ren. The red highlight really sets it off!

I really hate that GWLA shut their doors. I had got prices last summer for some custom heel work but then I procrastinated.

Your rifle is truly a work of art! Well done!

We really need to organize a M14 calendar that would feature some of these beautiful M14s such as yours.

Thanks from XM25Ren

I would not dare say that I am equal to the task, just that the rifle is.

The rifle is capable in the right hands. Now if we were talking trap, skeet, sporting clays, or the big bear.... I'm your huckleberry

Wow, are you saying you haven't even shot that beauty?

Great looking gun Ren.
While I have not had my hands on a Gun Works of LA receiver, I have heard great things about them and hated to see them go before I could get by there.

Thanks from XM25Ren

Thank you sir.

I bought three and can attest to the high quality of fit and finish. I was about to order a fourth receiver for my TRW NM build when they announced they were closing their doors.

A real shame as they were the only ones willing to do custom heel work, now I will have to wait until another opportunity comes along.

That's a good price especially if she's never been assembled.

"If you want something and there is simply no reason not to want it, buy now!"
